Personal information

Lenka has been a Doctoral Fellow at the Chair of Philosophy of Mind at LMU since 2020, and has been a member of the CVBE Lab during this time. Her primary interest lies in the exploration of essential structures encompassing the incoming act of being touched and their influence on our mental well-being.

Research interests

Perception, touch cognition, perception-cognition interactions, mental wellbeing.

PhD project

Her project focuses on wondrous ways we consciously interpret and predict incoming touch in a non-threatening situation. She is hoping with her findings to further highlight the influential role of trust in the magnificently complex phenomenon of touch acceptance.
